Brandon Edwards currently serves as the Campus Evangelist and Executive Director for the Buckeyes For Christ Student Organization on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Brandon grew up on the mission field in Italy and speaks both Italian and English fluently. Brandon has served as a missionary (Italy, China, Greece, and more) and Minister (Youth, Technology, and Evangelism) for over 20 years. Brandon is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University with a degree in Bible, holds a Master's in Religion from Harvard University, and two postgraduate degrees - one in Religious Studies and Education from Harvard Divinity School and the other in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge (UK). Brandon also serves as the Creative Director and Owner of Hidden Bridge Media, an award-winning media company, is the Director of Logistics for the critically acclaimed STORY Conference, and is the Chief Storyteller for the Adaption Institute - a professional consulting firm that works with executives and professionals to tell better stories. Brandon is married to his best-friend and love-of-his-life Kristin Edwards, and has three joy-filled children (Charlotte 17, Duncan 9, and CeeCee 7). Brandon is an avid soccer (football fan) and social media user - he can be found on all social media platforms seeking to outreach to a lost and dying world.

Dave Philipps was born in Detroit, Michigan, on November 2, 1956. He moved to Tennessee in 1974 to attend Freed-Hardeman University, where he earned a B.A. in 1978. He later earned advanced degrees, including a Doctor of Ministry from Harding School of Theology and additional graduate work in rhetoric at the University of Memphis. He has served the Germantown Church of Christ since 1991 and has been its pulpit minister since 1992. He also teaches as an adjunct faculty member at Southwest Tennessee Community College, serves as City Chaplain for Germantown, TN, and is a Distinguished Toastmaster. His mission work has taken him to Ukraine, Greece, and India. He married Ann Butler in 1978; she taught for 35 years in Memphis. They have two married children, four grandchildren, and reside in Tennessee.

He has worked as a commercial banker for the past 30 years at Bank of America and Frost Bank. He is currently the Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Coppell where he has served as a City Councilman since 2021. Don and his wife, Tianay, have been married for 20 years and have three teenage daughters. Don holds a BBA from Abilene Christian University and a MS in Finance from Texas A&M University.

Don and his wife, Denise, have been members at Prestoncrest since 1987 where Don has served as an elder since 2010. They have been married for 40 years and have two married daughters, Jacy and husband Bret, Daly and husband Patrick and their sons Baker and Foster. Don is a graduate of ACU with a degree in Industrial Management. After four years at his first post-graduation job with Triad Systems Corp. (a technology company), Don joined his father at Scotch Plaid, Inc., a family business specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of cleaning solutions with an emphasis on the automated carwash market. In 1996, Don acquired the business from his father and served as President and CEO until he sold the business in 2021 to a private equity group.

Brian Lewis has been the Preaching Minister for the Southwest Church of Christ in Ada, Oklahoma since January 2018. Before coming to Ada, he served as the Minister for the Eugene Church of Christ in Eugene, Oregon (2014-2017). Brian began full time ministry with the West Side Church of Christ in Searcy, Arkansas as the Youth Minister (2001-2011) then Involvement/Education Minister (2011-2014). He holds a B.A. in Bible and Religion and a Master of Ministry from Harding University and is currently working on his dissertation in the Doctor of Ministry program at Lipscomb University. Brian and his wife, Stacey, have been married for 26 years. Stacey is the Director of Accounting at People’s Electric Cooperative in Ada. They have two adult sons, David and Nathan, and one grandson, Everett.

In 2022, Bryan and his family joined the work with the Church of Christ in Champions in Houston, TX. Bryan and his wife Mendy began their work in ministry in 1999, serving congregations in Missouri and Tennessee. In addition to ministry, Bryan served as a full-time Assistant Professor of Behavioral Sciences for Freed-Hardeman University from 2014 until 2022. Since August of 2022 he has served as a full-time Assistant Professor in the School of Education and Human Services for Amridge University. Bryan and his wife Mendy have been married since 1999 and have four children: Connor (2003), Kendyl (2006), Kinley (2011), and Carsen (2015). Bryan is the youngest of two sons, born to Kristie McAlister and the late Robert McAlister of Jonesboro, IL. Their gift to their sons was to raise them in a faithful Christian home. His late brother, R.W. (1972-2021) was also a gospel preacher. Bryan has an MA in Community Counseling (2007) and a PhD in Professional Counseling (2017). He is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). His best decision to date, is saying yes to Mendy’s constant plea for marriage. By God’s grace and Mendy’s devotion, their family is able to minister and serve their community and the Lord’s church.

Dr. Bryan H. Pruitt and his wife Amy have been married for 35 years and have 5 children and one son-in-law. He has served as an elder at Prestoncrest Church of Christ for more than 12 years and regularly teaches adult Bible classes. He graduated from the Univ. of Texas Medical School and trained as a surgeon at UT Southwestern / Parkland Hospital here in Dallas and Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Pruitt is a plastic & reconstructive surgeon and has a private practice in north Dallas.

Dr. James Nored is Executive Director of Next Generation for Christ, a US and global ministry equipping churches, families, and leaders to pass faith on and reach today’s generation for Christ. He has preached locally with churches in the Kansas City, Dallas, and DC areas, and now preaches and trains churches across the U.S. and around the world with Next Gen seminars, Christ-Centered strategies, and the Story of Redemption Film Series—which he wrote and produced. The series has been translated into over 70 languages and is being used on five continents and broadcast in Croatia.
James holds degrees in Bible and Ministry (B.A., M.A.) from Oklahoma Christian University, a M.Div. from Harding Graduate School of Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has taught as adjunct faculty at Oklahoma Christian University, Austin Graduate School of Theology, South Pacific Bible School (New Zealand), and Baxter Institute (Honduras). In 2023, he was named Bible Student Alumni of the Year by the Bible faculty at Oklahoma Christian University. He has spoken and done ministry in more than 30 different countries.
James is blessed to serve with his wife and ministry partner, Becki, and enjoys going on mission as a family with their three daughters—Gina, Emily, and Kaylee.

Since October of 2022, Jeremie Beller has served as Chair of Bible and Director of Church Relations for Oklahoma Christian University. Prior to his appointment, Jeremie served 21 years as the full-time minister for the Wilshire Church of Christ, He also serves as Opinions Editor for the Christian Chronicle.
Jeremie received his Bachelor, Master of Arts, and Master of Divinity degrees from Oklahoma Christian University. He completed a PhD in Communication from the University of Oklahoma. Jeremie and his wife Delaina have been married since 1999. They have two kids: 17 year old son, Keaton and 13 year old daughter, Kayden. Delaina teaches at Oklahoma Christian Academy where Keaton and Kayden also attend.

Keith Harris is blessed to serve the Lewisville Church Family, in Lewisville, Texas. He has been involved in ministry for over 26 years. He moved to the Lewisville Church in 2021. Keith also earned an additional Masters degree from Lubbock Christian University in 2013. He is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry degree at Freed-Hardeman University. He is blessed to be involved in many lectureships and seminars across the country. Keith is married to Lindsey and they have a son and daughter, Kade and Zoe. Dr. Mellor holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University, a Master of Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University’s Caruso School of Law, a Master of Science in Education, and a Bachelor of Arts from Harding University. As a fellow at the Institute of Coaching, affiliated with McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, Dr. Mellor brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his clients.
In 2021, Dr. Mellor was invited by Harding University to develop and launch the Harding Center for Leadership Development and the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. Over his 25-year career, he has taught as a full-time or adjunct professor at several universities, including Baker University, Oklahoma Christian University, Oklahoma Baptist University, Pepperdine University, Harding University, and York University. He has earned the prestigious Executive Pilot Award from the Oklahoma Ethics Business Consortium in 2018 and being named one of Oklahoma’s Most Admired CEOs by the Oklahoma Journal Record in 2021.
Driven by his educational, humanitarian, and religious interests, Dr. Mellor has traveled extensively, spending over a year abroad in countries such as Australia, Belize, China, Guyana, Israel, Jordan, Mexico, and Rwanda. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Redlands College in Brisbane, Australia.
Dr. Mellor is a dedicated member of the Memorial Road Church of Christ in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he lives with his wife, Christie. They have two adult daughters.

Phil Thompson was a member of Harding University’s College of Bible and Ministry faculty for 21 years, from 2001-2022. Throughout his career at Harding, he served as the Director of the Center for Preaching and Assistant Director of the Kerusso Experience, a preaching and ministry camp for high school-aged students. He taught courses in ethics, bioethics, preaching, and both Old and New Testaments. He has also been a keynote speaker three times for the Harding University Lectureship and two times for the Harding Preachers’ Conference. He received Harding University’s Teacher Achievement Award in 2010.
Over a span of 46 years, Phil has served as preaching minister for churches in Virginia, Tennessee, and Arkansas. He has been the preacher for the Rose Bud Church of Christ in Rose Bud, AR since 2007, and a shepherd-elder since 2016. He has also participated in numerous short-term missions in India, Bangladesh, Russia, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Germany, Anguilla, and Jamaica.
Dr. Thompson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bible from Harding University, Searcy, and also a Master of Theology, a Master of Arts in ethics, and a Doctor of Ministry in preaching, all from Harding School of Theology, Memphis. In addition, he earned a Master of Arts in bioethics from Trinity International University. Phil and his wife, Liz, have been married for 51 years, and have three grown children and four grandchildren.

J.K. Hamilton holds his Undergraduate Degree from Southwestern Christian College and Master’s Degree in Professional Development and Counseling from Dallas Baptist University.
In his time apart from the pulpit, J.K. Hamilton is devoted to training and mentoring young men aspiring to go into ministry. He speaks at various churches, community events, conferences, and other venues locally, nationally, and internationally. In his downtime, he enjoys a game of non-competitive golf, reading, and fishing.
J.K. Hamilton is also a Chaplain with the Dallas Police Department. He has also authored and co-authored various books and has written for many publications, periodicals, and blogs over the years.

Now celebrating 14 years of marriage to her husband, Antwaun Hobbs Sr., Jade finds joy in family life with their three children, Antwaun Jr. (AJ), Alivia, and Anthony. A proud graduate of the University of North Texas and Prairie View A&M University, Jade has served in education for over 19 years, as a teacher, principal, and now a Consultant for Supervision and Leadership in School Improvement at Region 10. Her dedication has earned her honors such as Teacher and Principal of the Year, yet she remains grounded in humility and faith. In 2024, Jade became a published author with her first book, Embracing Divine Worth: A 21-Day Journey of Self-Care and Self-Love Through Scripture. Rooted in the Eastside Church of Christ, Jade actively supports her husband in ministry and serves in various women’s ministries. Her favorite scripture, Isaiah 40:31, reminds her that true strength is found in waiting on the Lord. With a heart for mentorship and empowerment, Jade continues to inspire women to walk boldly in faith, purpose, and perseverance.

She has twins, Michael Pipkin (wife Morgan) and Mary Ellen Sorrell (husband Ben), and a grandson, Thomas Sorrell and a granddaughter, Celia Pipkin. Thomas is the 5th generation of her family at Prestoncrest. Lisa loves teaching the children of Prestoncrest and has taught 3rd grade for 20 years.

Logan Cates is a minister at the Church of Christ in Durant. He and his wife Summer have five children; the oldest is a Youth minister in Tyler, Tx. The next two are currently studying Bible at FHU, the latter two are still taught at home. He and his family have been in Durant, Ok for ten years and prior to that was a Minister in SW Oklahoma City and Wilburton, Ok.

Marvin Bryant holds BA and MA degrees in biblical studies from Abilene Christian and completed a one-year spiritual internship in St. Louis, MO. He helped start and preached for the East Delco Church of Christ near Philadelphia (1980–1992), then served as pulpit minister for the NW Church of Christ in San Antonio (1992–2020). Since 2020, he has led Empowering Subjects, a ministry equipping followers of Jesus to impact the world like He did (empoweringsubjects.org). He currently preaches for the Kenedy Church of Christ in Kenedy, TX, and lives in San Antonio with his wife Gail. They have two married children and two grandchildren.

My wife Patsy and I have been married for 30 years this January. We both graduated from Texas A&M, and have a son, Ethan, who is 22. I have worked in the Retail Management field for the past 25 years, leading large teams as a facility manager. I work in the People Group for the Wal-Mart Company in Training & Development and do public speaking events. As a Deacon I head the Safety & Emergency Response Team at Prestoncrest, ensuring all of our members, staff, and guests enjoy worshiping in the safest environment we can provide. I am also part of the Adult Bible Content team and lead adult Bible classes at Prestoncrest. In my spare time I enjoy traveling and Texas BBQ.

Michael Elrod lives in Red Oak, Texas… he was the lead minister at the church in Ovilla for 36 years, before retiring in October of 2025.
Before preaching for the Ovilla congregation he preached for the church in Elk City, Oklahoma, and Clayton, NM. He graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 1978, and trained for ministry at the Sunset church in Lubbock from 1977-1979.
Michael’s family: Caleb and Genevieve Elrod, and grandsons Ethan and Carter…. and Noah and Tracee Elrod. Both sons and their families live in the Metroplex. His family is his heart!
He does mission work in Romania, and has done so for the last 32 years.

A graduate of Abilene Christian University and Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, Mike is recognized nationally as a thought leader, writer, and editor in the legal industry. At Prestoncrest, Mike and his wife Lisa work in the Children's Ministry, specifically with 3rd-6th graders, and Mike continues to teach in Prestoncrest's Adult Bible Class program. Mike and Lisa are proud parents of Michael Pipkin and wife Morgan, and Mary Ellen Sorrell and husband Ben, and are even prouder grandparents of Thomas Sorrell and Celia Pipkin.
