Dr. Nathan Mellor is a leadership development professional, executive coach, and CEO of Strata Leadership, a firm he co-founded in 2009. With a deep passion for nurturing leaders, Dr. Mellor has delivered over 4,000 documented coaching sessions across various industries, including construction, healthcare, higher education, finance, and more. He is a two-time TEDx speaker and author.
Dr. Mellor holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University, a Master of Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University’s Caruso School of Law, a Master of Science in Education, and a Bachelor of Arts from Harding University. As a fellow at the Institute of Coaching, affiliated with McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, Dr. Mellor brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his clients.
In 2021, Dr. Mellor was invited by Harding University to develop and launch the Harding Center for Leadership Development and the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. Over his 25-year career, he has taught as a full-time or adjunct professor at several universities, including Baker University, Oklahoma Christian University, Oklahoma Baptist University, Pepperdine University, Harding University, and York University. He has earned the prestigious Executive Pilot Award from the Oklahoma Ethics Business Consortium in 2018 and being named one of Oklahoma’s Most Admired CEOs by the Oklahoma Journal Record in 2021.
Driven by his educational, humanitarian, and religious interests, Dr. Mellor has traveled extensively, spending over a year abroad in countries such as Australia, Belize, China, Guyana, Israel, Jordan, Mexico, and Rwanda. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Redlands College in Brisbane, Australia.
Dr. Mellor is a dedicated member of the Memorial Road Church of Christ in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he lives with his wife, Christie. They have two adult daughters.
