Talk without criticism. Listen without judgment. Connect beyond differences.
Strengthen YOUR relationships at home, work, school, and everywhere! Safe Conversations relational technology empowers people to feel more valued, safe, and connected.
Relationship skills can be taught. It's not natural to slow down and take steps to understand another person. These skills can be taught, and we can train our brains to experience a sense of belonging like never before. Safe Conversations teaches you how.
Objection to difference is the source of conflict. Top relationship experts (and husband+wife team) Harville Hendrix, PhD, and Helen LaKelly Hunt, PhD, began by asking, "Why do couples fight?" What they discovered led them to develop a simple process of taking turns talking and listening in a structured way that creates safety in relationships. They found it works in ANY relationship, and they began teaching workshops to share the life-changing process.

Workshop Instructors:
The team of certified Safe ConverstationsĀ® instructors at Prestoncrest's workshop are coordinated by Prestoncrest minister, Gary Cochran. Gary has served on staff at Prestoncrest since 2006 and is an LPC. He was part of the initial launch of Safe Conversations as it kicked off in 2016 in Dallas. After the launch of SC, Prestoncrest has offered the workshop twice each year (spring and fall) free of charge. Partnering with us for our events each year, Preston Place Counseling's group of LPCs also graciously volunteer their time and experience to make our event a success each time it is offered. Special thanks to Harold, Von, Terri, and DeWone for their talents and teaching!
