Living Hope

Today's world is filled with hopelessness and despair. The first century world was also burdened with a tragic outlook on life. Nevertheless, when the apostle Peter wrote to the early church who was facing unending persecution and enduring unimaginable suffering, he reminded them that as followers of Jesus, they were not shackled by hopelessness, but they were freed by hope. Specifically, a "living hope" that never perishes, spoils, or fades.
