Dennis Zolotaryov in Ukraine

After graduating from the Ukrainian Bible Institute, Dennis Zolotaryov and his family relocated to Irpin, Ukraine, just north of Kyiv to work with the Irpin Church of Christ.  Dennis served as a rotating preaching minister. He and he and his wife Julia served the youth program, as well.  Dennis and Julia also regularly did outreach at the local orphanage and brought orphans to church each week.

Due to the Russian invasion of 2022, Dennis' ministry has now dramatically shifted to include humanitarian aid and refugee support. In the early days of the war, he and his fellow church volunteers focused on evacuating Ukrainians that lived behind and near the front lines. Additionally, they partner with various NGOs to bring food, medicine, and support to those in need, as well as those in the Ukrainian army.

As the war has continued, Dennis’ wife and two children have sought refuge in Croatia, while he remains in Ukraine to serve those in need.
