Weeknight Small Groups
Enjoy hanging out and spending time in the Word? Are you available in the evening during the week? These are for YOU! Grab some takeout on the way - come and check it out. Usual evenings are spent sitting together, eating, hanging out, and enjoying time together. All Young Adults, ages 18-35, are invited to join them any time.
Committees
To help keep Discover organized and always running smoothly we have set up four committees. Each devoted to one aspect of what makes Discover run.

Greeting Committee
Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating and overwhelming. The Greeter Committee helps guests feel right at home as soon as they walk through the door and helps them learn about the many activities and ministry efforts of Discover. Specifically, how they can connect and get involved. A warm smile and cup of coffee are some of the most powerful tools to grow the Kingdom.

Social Committee
Prestoncrest is a very large body of believers. It is easy to get lost in the sea of faces. Even when churches become large, they continue to grow with the "family" feel. The Social Committee plans monthly activities for Discover to keep us connected. From whirlyball to escape rooms to pumpkin carving, we make sure to stay together.

Service Committee
One of the most powerful ways we live out the gospel is in our service to our communities. As the old saying goes--"people will never care how much you know until they know how much you care." Our Service Committee plans and organizes opportunities for Discover to be the hands and feet of Jesus. From painting houses, to yardwork, to visiting those who need to be visited and encouraging those who need to be encouraged, there are always ways to make this world a better place.

Technology Committee
Covid-19 taught us that the Kingdom of God can still thrive in virtual capacities. Our Technology Committee maintains a strong presence for Discover on different social media platforms. It also strives to improve our virtual communication and discipleship throughout the ministry.
