Brother Tyrone Jones was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He was added to the Church of Christ in August of 1988 located at Hamilton Park in Dallas, Texas.
Brother Jones earned his B.S. in Music Education at Grambling State University, a Master of Arts in Music Education from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of Educational Administration from Texas A&M Commerce.
Brother Jones is the Associate Minister of Evangelism at the Greenville Avenue Church of Christ. He has served in this work area for fifteen plus years. He is very passionate about Evangelism and working with the Leadership at the church at Greenville Avenue and partneringwith the brotherhood to teach and implement best practices for sharing the Gospel. He is also a Teacher at the West Freeway School of Evangelism.
He has been instrumental in planning, developing, and implementing various Evangelistic Programs. Some of these are The Share Evangelism Program, Salvation Has Been Brought Down Lecture Series, and the Metroplex Evangelism Workshop.
Brother Jones has been a lifelong Educator for 40 plus years whose focus is to grow and develop individuals to be their best. He has been married to sister Vanessa Jones for 41 years. They have two daughters, Tishauna Jones, and Lashunda Turner.
