NEW CLASS ~ Young Families Class begins Oct 11 ~ #235 at the church building

This new class is part of the continued growth and multiplication of our Adult Education ministry, creating additional space for young families to build relationships, deepen their engagement with the body of Christ, and move into a new season of life together.

• DONATE Candy and/or Baked Goods: Candy for our Trunk-or-Treat cars to hand out and/or baked goodies for our annual Cake Walk!
• GREETER: Help greet and count visitors at the front gate (30 min shifts)
• POPCORN: Help pop and serve to our guests, 2 stands, 30 min shifts
• SETUP and/or CLEANUP: 1 hour before / after our event
• TRUNK @ TRUNK OR TREAT: Decorate your trunk for our line of cars! We provide the candy to hand out.

Sun, Oct 4: Final evening for the special Sun Night Series as we join the congregation in the Auditorium from 5-7pm for the New Testament series & guest speakers. Get all the info HERE & be sure to RSVP for Oct 4 dinner meal. (No Devo in the Zone those weeks.)

Pumpkinfest ~ adults & student workers needed! Pumpkinfest is Saturday, Oct 24, from 5:30-8pm. Setup begins at 4:30pm. We need students to running games, and adults to help with setup, cleanup and to supervise. Please email bryka@prestoncrest.org to sign up.

Sunday, Oct 11: Two groups. One community. One table. Discover + 28:20 are coming together for a joint meal after second service in the Discover room to share a meal, connect across both groups, and get to know one another better as part of the larger Prestoncrest young adult community. The new Young Adults/Singles Minister, Caleb Elrod, and his family will be there and look forward to having more time to get to know everyone better! Come hungry… lunch is provided. These skills can be taught, and we can train our brains to experience a sense of belonging like never before. Safe Conversations teaches you how. This event is open to the community and is the ONLY location in DFW to offer it FREE of charge. RSVP today! Seating is limited.

Sun, Oct 18: Area-Wide Praise & Worship, 5pm ~ This quarterly gathering of all area-wide churches is always a wonderful time of praise and worship at each event, and this month is hosted at Prestoncrest.  This event is coordinated by www.marchdallas.org in conjunction with local/area Churches of Christ. Guest speaker for this event will be Lamont Ross (Marsalis Ave CoC). Join us for a meal afterward in Prestoncrest’s Fellowship Hall ~ no RSVP required.
