Preaching Minister
Gordon and Ila Dabbs have been part of the Prestoncrest family since early 2009. Before moving to Dallas, they served as part of a church-planting team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where they lived with their children, Claudia and David.
Gordon is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University and holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Ethics from the University of Oklahoma, as well as an M.A. in Biblical Interpretation from Lubbock Christian University.
In his ministry at Prestoncrest, Gordon is passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus, helping people grow as disciples, and encouraging the church to live out the gospel with faith, wisdom, and love.
When he is not preaching, teaching, or spending time with people, Gordon can often be found trying to rescue his pickleball game from the depths of mediocrity.
