Joel and his wife Lauren married in 2007 and have attended Prestoncrest since 2009. They are members of the FOR12 class and have 3 children (Rhett, Tag & Joanna). Joel and Lauren have worked with the Guatemala medical mission trip team for many years, with Lauren providing care and services as an optometrist. Joel graduated from Baylor Law School and currently serves as a partner in a law firm.

John Shuttlesworth and wife, Lindsay, have been attending Prestoncrest since 2001. They have been married since 2001 & are a part of the Families in Christ class. They are parents of 4 children. John graduated from ACU in 2000 is currently employed by Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI) as the Store Manager of the facility in Plano. John & Lindsay volunteer and teach in the Children’s Ministry.

Johnnyhas been a member at Prestoncrest since 2009. He and Lindsey met at Prestoncrest, have been married since 2010, and have a son and daughter (John “J.J.” & Claire). They volunteer with the Together Forever ministry, as well as the Children’s Ministry Sunday morning classes. Johnny was born and raised in Dallas and works in construction in the Dallas area. Lindsey is from Amarillo and works for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.

Jonathanand his wife Demeree have been married since 2007. Jonathan attended Harding University, Demeree attended Freed Hardeman University, and they started attending Prestoncrest in 2011. They have 2 sons (Owen & Hudson) and participate in teaching classes, serving at VBS, and co-leading a small group. The family loves to laugh, travel, enjoys sports, music, and spending time with friends and family.

Karl Gscheidle and wife, Anna, met in Abilene while Karl was in the Air Force and Anna was teaching. They are parents of 3 young children. Karl attended the University of Illinois, earned a degree in structural engineering and works as an engineer/estimator for Lighthouse Engineering. Anna attended ACU, earned a degree in education, and works for Prestonwood Christian Academy.

Kerry Fitzgerald and his wife, Jennifer, are both graduates of Harding University and married in 2003. They are parents of 4 young children. Kerry and Jennifer have been at Prestoncrest since 2005. They are currently active members of the Homebuilders class. Kerry is currently employed by FORVIS LLP where he serves as Partner in the Company’s assurance practice.

Lance Atchison & his wife, Debra, met in the Prestoncrest singles group. In ‘05 he moved to Ukraine to serve as a missionary. They married in ‘07 & served as house parents in Ukraine to 11 orphans. Upon moving back to the states, they adopted 3 boys from Ukraine; all are now grown, and 2 are married. Celest and his wife Mireya were married in 2013 and have been attending Prestoncrest since then. They have 2 children (Micah & Marianna). They are members of the Journey class. Celest has a BBA in Accounting and MBA in Supply Chain and Logistics. Mireya is a trained PT and is teaching in Sunshine School at Prestoncrest.

Mark Ownby and wife, Stephanie, met in the Singles group at Prestoncrest, have been married since 1998, and have 2 almost grown children. They are active members of the Families in Christ class. Mark voluteers as a communion coordinator and contribution counter and is on the IT team. He graduated from Texas A&M and is employed by Raytheon as a software engineer. Stephanie graduated from ACU and serves on the Prestoncrest staff.

Matt Armstrong and his wife, Patsy, have been members at PC since 1999, and attend the C-Life class. Matt is a teacher in the PC adult education ministry and Patsy has volunteered in the Children’s Ministry. They both graduated from of Texas A&M with a BBA in Business. Matt spent 20 years as a manager for Sam’s Club, and now serves as a manager for Walmart. They are proud parents of one teenage son who loves baseball.

Matt Coats and his wife, JT, have been members at PC since 2002, have 3 children, and are co-leaders and members of the 24:7 class. Matthew Pool, born in Dallas into a Prestoncrest founding family, spent his formative years in Carthage, Texas. After college, he returned to Prestoncrest and met his wife, Jennifer, in the Prestoncrest singles group. They married in 2001 and have 3 children.
