Youth Group Coordinator, Grades 7-12
Kellie grew up in Houston and met her wonderful husband, Scott at Abilene Christian University. After graduating from ACU she worked as a teacher for 8 years before choosing to be a stay-at-home mom to her three amazing children, MacKenzie, Campbelle and Holt. During that time she went back to teaching for a couple of years and served as an interim Children’s Minister at their church for a year. While she loved it, she ultimately chose to be home with her kids while they were little as much as possible.
Scott and Kellie moved to Prestoncrest in 2011 and began volunteering with the youth group. In 2014, Kellie was hired to work part-time at Prestoncrest as the Youth Ministry Coordinator. She loves working with and helping support the PCYG ministry team as they minister to the junior high and high school students. One of her favorite things is coordinating and going on the mission trips while serving alongside the students and adult volunteers.
Kellie and Scott are blessed to be a part of the class, LifeBuilders. She loves the Lord, hanging out with her family, going on dates with her husband, reading, traveling, and eating food with friends.
