Prayer Quilt Ministry

Join us! Meets 2nd & 4th Sat of each month 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM @ Preston Place #295 WHAT IS A PRAYER QUILT? Prayer quilts combine the gift of prayer with the gift of a quilt. Church members are invited to visit the quilt made by the ministry group, say a silent prayer, and tie a knot representing their prayer. Baby Blessing

  • Beginning of Early and Late Services. Brunch @ 11:00
We love celebrating our babies! Each Spring, Prestoncrest hosts a Baby Blessing and brunch to honor our newest members and their families. New babies are introduced to the congregation during a special time of prayer and blessing in worship service. Stop by the table in the foyer to tie knots and pray over two prayer quilts. The first quilt is for Veronica Lopez, friend and coworker of Gilda Kessner.  Veronica has a rare form of melanoma and undergoing treatment at UT Southwestern.  She needs prayers for the treatment’s success and for more time with her family.
