FAQs: Bible Classes

What is a Bible Class?

Bible Classes are small groups that meet on Sunday mornings in different classrooms around the church's campus. Classes last about an hour.

Where and when do they meet?

They meet either at the church building or at the Preston Place building across the street from the church. They meet during the time between Sunday morning worship services. Adult classes begin at 9:45am and Kids' classes begin at 9:35am. All classes conclude at 10:30am.

Who are they for?

Everyone! Classes for adults, kids, teens, and nursery are all available. Adult classes enjoy Bible study, prayer and fellowship. Kids classes enjoy time together both in large groups, and also breakout into smaller groups based on age/grade level.

What are adult classes like?

Adult classes operate like a small church family. Many of our members find that their Bible Class is not only a place of fellowship and learning, but also a place of belonging, service, worship and prayer. Usually classes begin and end with a very relaxed, casual atmosphere. Once class begins, everyone takes a seat and enjoys a short lesson or study from a teacher/speaker. A designated "class leader" will help open and close the class and guide the discussion, as well. Seating is plentiful, very relaxed, and guests are always welcome. Many of our classes will offer up a great cup off coffee, as well!

Do I have to place membership before I can attend one?

No! We encourage guests to attend a class any Sunday.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable.

Where should I park?

Guest parking spaces are available on the east side of our parking area. Additional parking is also available across the street north of the church at Preston Place.

How do I find a Bible Class?

Stop by the Information Desk in the foyer at the church building and pick up a map, ask questions, and get directions to find the class you are looking for.

Will I be required to talk, read from the Bible or pray out loud?

You are welcome to participate at any time, or simply listen.

Is there childcare?

We offer classes for all ages, including children and teens, plus nursery for the littlest ones.

What if I don’t feel like I fit into a particular adult Bible Class?

Shop around! Visit as many classes as you'd like. We have a variety of classes to choose from. Some are a mix of ages and life stages, and some are more geared toward a specific age group. Whichever you prefer, we have a great variety to choose from to find a good fit.
