FriendSpeak is a great opportunity to share Jesus by reading the Bible with an International student. For one hour each week, you can help a student practice their conversational English and pronunciations using the Bible and other study helps. FriendSpeak is based on practicing conversational English by reading the New Testament. Since 2002, 1-on-1 conversational English has been taught at Prestoncrest using this proven program. It’s registration day! This event is primarily promoted at local elementary schools in our neighborhood, as well as Bachman Lake Together and Richardson Family Place. Registration is ONLY AVAILABLE IN PERSON – no online or phone registrations are available. Every year about 200 families register to receive a box of Thanksgiving goodies to make a traditional Thanksgiving meal – turkey, dressing, side dishes, and dessert, and supplies for an additional meal or two, as well.
