Relationships First™/Safe Conversations 360 is an event/workshop being held at Prestoncrest 3 times a year, beginning with the Saturday before Valentine's day. If the February event has passed, or doesn't fit your schedule, never fear! Prestoncrest also offers 2 additional dates and times for this same seminar - one in early summer and again in the fall. Both of these are led by Gary Cochran (LPC), Prestoncrest's Outreach Minsiter. Check back to this site for more information on exact dates and times for additional events!
The Feburary event is the kickoff each year and is the flagship event - a free, full-day workshop for adults, kids and teens taking place at Fair Park and is live-streamed to select locations... with Prestoncrest's Fellowship Hall being one of those locations! Our Fellowship Hall is a place where our community can come and enjoy free childcare, complimentary continental breakfast and lunch, and view the live-streamed event. This workshop is coordinated by Gary Cochran (LPC), Prestoncrest's Outreach Minister, and Gary and others are on hand to facilitate, answer questions, help put lessons into practice, and with all aspects of the day's seminar.
The event from Fair Park is hosted and taught by the relationship experts and husband-and-wife team Dr. Harville Hendrix and Dr. Helen LaKelly Hunt. Through decades of work with couples and individuals they have learned that the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives. They are dedicated to helping others learn how to have better connections to the people in their lives. It is truly a powerful experience. Safe Conversations relational technology empowers people to feel more valued, safe and connected in their relationships at home and at work. More than 2000 attended the event in 2016, and many described it as “transformative” and “life changing,” with 96% saying they would recommend it to friends.
Prestoncrest's 2 additional dates and times for this semiar (early summer & fall) are led by Gary Cochran (LPC), Prestoncrest's Outreach Minsiter ~ check back soon for exact dates/times and registration links.
