Bob currently serves as our Small Group & Spiritual Formation Minister. He and Pam have been married since 1975, are the parents of David and Jessica, and have been with Prestoncrest since 2002.
Bob is a native Texan but has also lived in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Missouri. He received a Bachelors degree in Bible and Biblical Languages from Harding University in Searcy, a Masters degree in Religion from Harding Graduate School of Religion in Memphis, and has a passion for mentoring, small groups, and teaching people about Jesus.
Bob’s love of personal and small group ministry was born during his ten years in campus ministry at Memphis State University and Southwest Missouri State University.
Bob has written three books, Step By Step: A 90-Day Walk With Jesus Through The Gospel of Mark and Walk With Me, which he co-authored with Prentice Meador, and An Honest Cry. He has also written for numerous journals including Campus Journal, The Small Group Letter, Image Magazine, 21st Century Christian Magazine, and Leaven. He currently serves as Managing Editor for 21st Century Christian Magazine.
Bob is actively involved in several ministries in Ghana, West Africa including the Ghana Water Well Mission, a water-well drilling / church planting mission, the Village of Hope, an orphanage for abandoned children, and Heritage University Christian College, a training school for ministers who serve all over West Africa.
